Dracula therapy, PRP treatment (Fracula)
WHAT IS FRACULA THERAPY?
Fracula therapy is a combination of Dracula therapy and fractional laser treatment.
Dracula (or PRP therapy) is a revolutionary, very simple, non-invasive, cosmetology treatment. Thanks to the growth factors found in the patient's own blood plasma, the Dracula therapy stimulates the regeneration and growth of the skin's collagen cells, reduces fine wrinkles, and makes the skin fresher.
In combination with laser treatments, the results of Dracula therapy can be multiplied.
HOW DOES PRP TREATMENT WORK?
- Blood (approx. 10-20ml) is taken from the patient, and then platelet-rich plasma is prepared from the collected blood using a special centrifuge.
- After that, the specialist massages the serum extracted from the blood into the skin during the CO2 laser treatment, because the nutrients reach the deeper layers of the skin much more efficiently through the channels formed by the laser.
- Furthermore, the plasma solidifies on the skin and forms a biofilm, which nourishes and protects the skin as a bio-bandage.
- Afterwards, cooling is applied to soothe the skin.
- Dracula and CO2 laser therapy takes place under local anesthesia.
DRAKULA THERAPY - TO WHOM DO WE RECOMMEND IT?
Fracula therapy is recommended for the treatment of the following problems:
- to eliminate deeper wrinkles,
- ugly warts,
- pigment spots, freckles
- for the treatment of deeper acne scars left over from acne,
- to rejuvenate the skin of the face, neck, décolletage, hands,
- to regenerate sun-damaged skin.
The treatment on the forehead, face, neck, décolleté, hands, knees and elbows is particularly spectacular, when the goal is to revitalize the skin, remove scars (including acne scars) and stretch marks.
WHO WE DO NOT RECOMMEND
- For pregnant and nursing mothers
- For people with autoimmune diseases
- For people with bleeding disorders
- For those suffering from acute and chronic infections
- For those suffering from cancer
BEFORE DRACULA THERAPY
At the very first consultation, the treatment specialist will explain everything precisely so that we are aware of what to expect during and after the laser treatment.
The intervention is performed with local anesthesia, not anesthesia. Rather, it is accompanied by discomfort and possibly minimal pain. A small pinprick-like, burning, tingling sensation may accompany the treatment.
The specialist first cleans the skin surface to be treated, then adjusts the necessary parameters of the CO2 laser based on the pre-arranged plan - how much energy, what pixel parameters are needed for the treatment, how deep the soft laser must penetrate.
MYTHS ABOUT FRACULA TREATMENT
When using the Dracula therapy, contrary to popular belief, the patient's face does not turn red from the blood, since the procedure uses the yellowish plasma extracted from the treated blood, which is used in the designated area. The whole thing involves no more torture than an average blood test.
HOW LONG DOES THE DRACULA TREATMENT TAKE?
The treatment takes about 45-60 minutes.
HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT OF PRP TREATMENT LAST?
Even one treatment brings a significant improvement, but to achieve the ideal result, 3 sessions are recommended, with an interval of 4 weeks. The effect can be noticed permanently, for one to one and a half years.
AFTER TREATMENT
During the first week, sports, saunas, solariums, and sunbathing are not recommended for 2 months. When going outside, it is recommended to use a 30-factor sunscreen, and a 50-factor sunscreen in sunny weather, on the treated area.
