A dermatological examination is recommended for anyone with a skin complaint, whether it is a rash, itching, pigmentation spot or any other skin change. Annual mole screening is especially important for those who have many moles or whose mole has changed, grown or become red. Smaller skin growths, fibromas and warts can also be removed in our clinic.

Before mole screening, it is advisable to avoid intense sun exposure and tanning beds for at least one week, so the skin can be examined in its natural state. Before a procedure – whether it involves the removal of a mole, wart or fibroma – do not apply cream or cosmetics to the area.
If you are taking medication, especially blood thinners or antibiotics, please inform our doctor in advance.

Keep the procedure site dry and clean for the period recommended by the doctor, and avoid sun exposure and tanning beds during healing. The effect of anesthesia wears off within a few hours; mild tenderness and slight swelling in the treated area are a normal part of the procedure. If the wound does not heal, starts to discharge, or fever occurs, please contact our clinic. A follow-up examination is available at a discounted price within 1 month.
